The Saimaa University of Applied Sciences organizes additional application during 1–15 June 2011. The additional application applies to two Bachelor’s Degree Programmes conducted in English:
- Chemical Engineering, situated in Imatra
Bachelor of Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology, situated in Lappeenranta

You can apply for these programmes through the website http://www.saimia.fi/en-FI/admission/bachelor-degree/additional-application-2011. On the website you can also find exact information about selection criteria and the time schedule of application. The application form has to be submitted online during 1 June - 15 June 2011. The online application opens on 1 June and closes on 15 June at 3.00 pm Finnish time (+2 hrs GMT). 

An invitation to the entrance examination will be sent from the Saimaa University of Applied Sciences on 30 June 2011 at the latest. All eligible applicants receive an invitation to the entrance examination. The entrance examination will be arranged only in the following places (the times are local times):
- Finland, Imatra: 20 July 2011 at 11:00 am.
- Russia, St. Petersburg: 20 July 2011 at 11:00 am.
- China, Beijing and Shanghai: 20 July 2011 at 11:00 am.
The Saimaa University of Applied Sciences sends letters of acceptance on 6 August at the latest.

The Saimaa University of Applied Sciences has about 3 000 students, 300 of them being international degree students. Campuses are situated in the cities of Lappeenranta and Imatra.
