The Library of Saimaa University of Applied Sciences serves in three locations students and staff as well as outside customers. The collections at each library are geared to meet the needs of the faculty in question. Information about services such as databases, on-line dictionaries, e-books, and more is also available via the internet from all school computers. A special unit at the technical library in Lappeenranta provides expert advice on Russian information services.

The Library guides, advises and trains the staff and students in the use of various information materials and resources. Information skills and independent information retrieval are essential in student life. The library helps students with the acquisition and use of these skills for the promotion of learning and progression of studies. All libraries provide help and guidance in the use of libraries and information retrieval.
