Practical training or clinical practice is an integral part of polytechnic studies. The aim of practical training/clinical practice is to guide and prepare the students to perform practical tasks related to the key aspects of their professional studies and to apply their knowledge and skills at work.

The faculties decide on the requirements for the content, extent and timing of practical training/clinical practice. Practical training/clinical practice can be done either in Finland or abroad.
