Right to Study

The right to study is granted to students who enrol as attending students. The right to study is held by those students who are enrolled for attendance. Only those students who are enrolled at the university of applied sciences (UAS) have the right to participate in studies or sit for examinations for credit.

Enrolment

The right to study is granted to students who enrol as attending students. Students must enrol either as attending or non-attending students at the beginning of each academic year. ENROLMENT IS BINDING.

Continuing students may enrol via the internet link, WinhaWille from August 1st to September 11th every year. New students are enrolled automatically when they inform the school of their acceptance of the study place. If the student enrols as a non-attending student, a separate form must also be completed and left with the study programme unit’s student office. Students may change their enrolment status as needed at the beginning of the spring semester, by January 11th. If a student has enrolled during the previous year as “absent”, that student must enrol as “attending” or “absent” by the first of August of the next school year.

Neglect of the enrolment responsibility may result in loss of right to study, and application for renewed study rights may not be made until the next semester. Studies may not be resumed until the right to study has been granted.
