Lovely day to all reading this blog!

Today I would like to share with you one wonderful event that is going on Skinnarila campus right now. Happening in the Gallery Hall of Lappeenranta University of Technology is a spectacular Fifth International Photo Exhibition organized by Glostars. For the benefit of those of you who don’t know, Glostars started out as a local startup, the idea of which is to provide people with an opportunity to share their pictures on an international scale. After winning LUT Entrepreneurship Society Launch Pad, Glostars eventually transformed into a global photo-sharing platform with photos coming from all over the world!

Now that the platform is gaining an increasing number of photo enthusiasts from different countries, their gallery is becoming even more manifold. Some of the photos are absolutely breathtaking, and hiding such beauties would have been simply criminal. Willing to share and inspire, Glostars has already organized four international photo exhibitions.

Unable to come and see this year’s exhibition myself, I was very happy to discover that there would be a live-stream of the opening ceremony. Now that the live-stream is over, you can see the video recording of the stream on the event’s official Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/276949929382273. Besides the opening ceremony and award of prizes to the highest-voted pictures, the video is basically a tour guide on the works presented on the exhibition, whereby photographers and Glostars’ creators share some of the stories behind the pictures.

From what I have seen on the video, the photos are just fabulous. If you have such an opportunity, come to LUT Gallery Hall and see for yourself! You surely do not want to miss this chance and see some great moments captured on a film, or shall I better say phone memory? Anyways, the photos are very beautiful, so head out to the hall by 17:00 tomorrow 18.05 – you will not regret coming there.

This is all for today. Have a great day and see you soon! 🙂
