In the Saimaa University of Applied Science's (SUAS) Department of Fine Arts, it is possible to study graphic art, painting, photography, sculpture, or jewellery art. There are several areas that may be studied entirely in English.

Painting with oils and tempera, as well as experimental painting are studied on the campus in Imatra. Advanced studies in modern art are also offered.

The courses of graphic arts, photography and sculpture include numerous options ranging from the use of traditional methods to using modern materials and digital media. Sculpture also includes environmental art.

While jewellery art emphasizes expression and experimentation, the courses also include the use of traditional techniques and materials.

The teachers of Fine Arts are artists and experts in their fields, who have also qualified as teachers. There is also close cooperation with other art schools.

For exchange students Saimaa UAS also offers a wide selection of language, communication, and cultural studies in English.
