Degree Programme in Nursing produce registered nurses who are professionals in supporting individuals, families and communities in multiple fields of expertise.
The nursing studies are based on a personal study plan, which allows you to build your own career path. The education is highly esteemed and meets the strict quality requirements set in the EU legislation - A Bachelor of Nursing is a Registered Nurse.
The students are offered a broad range of learning environments. Skills and knowledge are acquired in a natural context as much as possible. We also utilise an online learning environment which allows flexibility in the studies. Good relations to different partners are integral to our programme. Among external interest groups, clinical placements for students are central. Our wide international network also offers both students and teachers the opportunity for exchange and other forms of co-operation.
Graduates from this programme may work as registered nurse in hospital environment, homecare and other kind of experts in social- and healthcare in Finland, Europe or around the world.
Non-EU/EEA students are subject to tuition fees. The annual tuition fee for students in Bachelor´s degree programmes is 5 400 e/year. Applying for the 50 % scholarship is possible after the first academic year. To be able to use the given option, you must be able to study full time during the first academic year - meaning, that you must complete a minimum of 55 ECTS credits of studies that are included in your personal study plan.
