Applicants applying with a non-Finnish qualification must upload a copy (PDF/JPG/PNG) of the original upper general secondary education (high school) certificate as an attachment to the application at www.studyinfo.fi by 30 January 2019 3 p.m. at the latest.
The applicants who are completing their foreign qualification in the spring/summer 2019 must upload a copy of current transcript of records by 30 January 2019 at 3 p.m. at the latest. This does not apply to those applicants who are citizens of an EU/EEA-country and who are completing their qualification in the spring of applying. In addition a copy of an official Finnish, Swedish or English translation of the certificate must be provided if the certificate is not written in one of these languages. The translation must include the translator’s signature and stamp.

Applicants applying with a Finnish qualification do not need to submit copies of their educational certificates.

The official SAT -test result must be ordered directly form the test organiser, College Board. Report printed or submitted by the applicant him/herself is not accepted.
The SAT -test result must be submitted to Saimaa UAS by 10 April 2019 3 p.m. at the latest.

The certificate copies must be uploaded to the application at studyinfo.fi by 30 January 2019, 3 p.m. Finnish time (+2 hrs GMT).

All applicants who have demonstrated their eligibility will be invited to the entrance examinations.

A separate English language certificate is not required. The applicants’ language skills will be evaluated in the language test included in the entrance examination on a pass/fail basis. An applicant who has failed the language test is withdrawn from admission.
